About the Artwork

“Montgolfière Race” was painted from a photo taken during the FMG Festival in Gatineau, Quebec. The annual “Festival des Montgolfière”, held in early September attracts tourists and balloonists from every corner of the world. Many of the flyovers during the event take place over the artist’s main art studio.
