The inspiration for this painting was from a photo just north of Ottawa/Gatineau when I had a cottage on the lake next to Lake Poisson Blanc, part of the Rivière du Lievre water retention reservoir.  Brings back many memories of fantastic trips, on my pontoon boat, that created many adventures, meeting the unexpected and seeing Mother Earth at her best.
