This painting which I completed in 2017 is the original artwork that was used to create the "Enchanted Forest Study". It was one of my first paintings where I had used liquefied oil-based paints throughout the artwork. 
 
Realizing that I had uncovered a painting method where I could really distinguish myself from other artists I had to discover how far I could exploit this style. To comprehend the potential of these new techniques that I had created and the effects of oil-based mediums with light I decided to use this landscape as the model to mix and match colours, mediums and form.  The results speak for themselves…
